Could this be clearing the way for Arizona-MiamiFL home-and-home in 2017-18?

Maybe you are on to something. For Miami to return to respectability one of the things they need to do is beef up the OOC scheduling. Games with a team like Arizona in 2017-2018 would get Miami up to 2 OOC games with P5 teams, meaning a RS schedule of at least 10 games with P5 teams.

Tulane seems to be VERY cupcake-heavy these days.

Friday Night Lights… is about HIGH SCHOOL football. This is about “filling television inventory”.

“Indiana has a tremendous history and tradition”

I thought this was a football scheduling website, not a basketball schedule website.

Greg R., totally agree. History and tradition of losing. Ron Turner must be smoking something down in Miami and it’s not a cigar.

It’s all relative. With all of the Incarnate Words, Mercers, and, yeah, Florida Internationals of the world invading college football, Indiana looks majestic in comparison.

Indiana went to Rose Bowl in 1967 and with any luck may go this century also.

“Indiana has a tremendous history and tradition.” – Ron Turner

Ron, something isn’t true just because you say it.

Ron probably didn’t say it. Some donut in PR at FIU probably wrote it and attributed it to poor Ron. But I do have to agree with the sentiment.
