This is a great home and home series. Not far from each other.

      October 23, 2015 at 1:37 am

This is a wonderful fan friendly series for both schools. Great scheduling!!!!

Marshall makes way more competitive sense to be in the American than a Tulsa or Tulane, but unfortunately not from a TV market standpoint.

Good scheduling. Why won’t Kentucky play Marshall? That would be even better, but UK are pussycats rather than wildcats when it comes to non-conference scheduling.

For the Cincy fans sake I hope it’s a home and home with a P5 for those years.

River City Rivalry – this was a short-lived trophy game

Hopefully Cincy can land in a P5 conference at some point. Them and BYU would be good additions..

hope the Big 12 hears you Travis

Tulane probably has a better chance at the B12, but I’d suspect that either BYU or Cincy would be added with them at the same time to keep even numbers. Cincy would make sense (to partner with WVU, also because they are good at basketball).

Glad to see this series back on the books. Those games were pretty exciting when they both played in the Big East.

Georgia vs. UCLA, wow. Kind of burying the lede there, actually.

This is where it would be good to have a “sub-headline”. :) I’ll change the headline — good point.

Playing Georgia in 2025 is a headline? Come on man.

Cincinnati to the Big 12. They are a big fish in a small pond. It will be nice for once to see Cincinnati play in prime time. I hope the Big 12 stop playing games and add them.

I’m pumped to see Cincinnati play on the West Coast.

So Georgia will be playing @GT and @UCLA in 2015. It doesn’t make sense.

But Georgia cancelling the home-and-home series with Oregon didn’t make sense either.

      June 18, 2015 at 12:21 am

Crabbes , It makes perfect sense….. Georgia had no shot in hell at beating Oregon either game. That;s whay it was cancelled. Ucla will punch them in the throat both games… Just like they did Bama in 1999 and 2000 home and away….

Literally 10 years from now!!!! No need too fight bc who knows where either program will be

In the old days, this would have meant a days-long train journey for the DAWGS.
UCLA would have played ag’in’ a half asleep Georgia team (and, possibly…only possibly) won the contest, because of it.
It doesn’t make sense to go cross-country, to play a non-bowl game, though.

What is the all time record for Ga.vs UCLA?” Look it up dumb ass!!!!! before you punch anybody. What is UCLA”s record vs any SEC team?

I remember the last time UCLA came to Athens and we ran them out of the stadium. Took them over 30 years to even think about coming back. Welcome back left coasters and enjoy your beat down in Athens

Gotta love the passion. Easy to hate the SEC. Good problem to have. Nobody hates the PAC10. Only time to hate the PAC10 is when they refuse to play your homecoming.

Cincinnati is doing a good job trying to get some quality opponents to Nippert stadium and needs to keep that up. They’re a solid mid-major team that with a little more work and some good recruits could probably have some of the top tier programs running for their money.

      April 30, 2015 at 1:53 pm

The shiny new Nippert Stadium is definitely going to help keep bringing bigger names to Cincinnati. Honestly, it’s not a bad series for UCLA; they get to spread their brand across the country and play in front of a packed house of 40,000 in a game that will help their strength of schedule.

      April 30, 2015 at 6:00 pm

I hope before this game happens, the Big 12 would add Cincinnati.

I have to agree. I give the Bearcats a lot of credit, for scheduling Power 5 teams. They have a recent history of playing well. The last 10 years, they played in 2 BCS games. They are a lot better than 10 or 11 teams in the ACC.

      • Buck Jim
        May 11, 2015 at 4:21 pm

There are probably four non-major teams better than 10 or 11 of the ACC teams!!!

        May 12, 2015 at 2:48 pm

Cincy got smoked by both Miami and Virginia Tech last year. Both of those teams were about the 10th and 11th best ACC teams. You were saying?
