Might as well go ahead and change Los Angeles to LA Rams. ;)
Lord only knows what the Chargers will be this fall… LA Chargers. There’s a throwback!

        January 8, 2017 at 12:52 pm

That’s a typo. Count em — has Arizona playing 17 games and everyone else only playing 16. Maybe they ARE playing a 17th game, but no opponent…I’m inclined to take Arizona on that one.

How does New England consistently draw relatively easy schedules?

      • Don
        January 10, 2017 at 5:57 am

How do you figure that ? Why do they consistently give Denver home games against the Patriots ? Denver won the Super Bowl in 2016……yet every important game against the best of the AFC were in Denver !

      • Don
        January 10, 2017 at 6:03 am

They played Houston, Denver and Pittsburgh on the road……….yet Denver…..who won the Super Bowl……..played every major AFC game at home (not counting division…..of which half are home games)

        January 16, 2017 at 8:53 pm

Criticism on how the schedule is made is misguided. There’s absolutely no subjectivity in the way the NFL schedule is made. It’s all a rotation of division A playing division B one year and division C the next, etc. The schedule is laid out for an indefinite number of future seasons because of this rotation system.

The only specific matchups that are not predetermined are two games which are determined by your previous year’s finish. As an example, the entire AFC East plays the entire AFC West. In addition NE’s first place 2016 finish matches them up with Houston and Pittsburgh in 2017 while the Dolphins play Tennessee and Baltimore. The home / away aspect of this piece, however, is predetermined as well.

I want the Steelers to go 0-16 and the Texans beat them in the 2017-2018 regular season in Houston

How many Los Angeles teams are we going to have

      January 15, 2017 at 4:21 pm

I hope the Houston Texans win the division for the 3rd year in a row but the trash browns wont get in their way from another playoff appearance and faces new England for 3 years in a row from 2015-2017 regular season and that’s difficult. God bless everyone Go texans

New Year’s Day football games 2017

I would much rather see college games than NFL games. Too much money in NFL games to be honest winners and losers. Buy one ref or one player and the whole game changes. Use to love NFL until super bowl last year and the protest by players this year. I will skip football today.

      January 1, 2017 at 5:10 pm

I agree with Paul. It’s always a bummer to have to wait to Jan 2 for bowl games. That’s what New Year’s Day is all about.

Vikings fan chiming in here, seeing as the Lions have a reputation for collapsing completely down the stretch, personally I think that the Packers will win on Sunday Night.
